Lab Mission

The Laboratory for Sustainable Fabrics Production focuses on developing environmentally friendly biofabrication processes to create materials derived from biological entities. Research targets include optimized and scalable methods for producing 3D biomaterials, sustainable dyeing and finishing processes, and applications beyond the biomedical field—such as in fashion, interiors, and transportation. The facility will integrate bioprinters and microbiological equipment for culturing both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells.

Devices

Cellink BIO X Bioprinter

The CELLINK Cell X bioprinter is a high-precision, dual-head bioprinting system designed for reproducible fabrication of complex 3D tissue constructs. It supports temperature-controlled printheads and printbed, enabling the use of a wide range of bioinks and cell types. Ideal for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, it allows automated, sterile, and user-friendly operation.
