WP6: BioRobotics & Sustainability

The aim of the WP6 “Biorobotics & Sustainability” is to create an open Research Infrastructure enabling the investigation of various Sustainability aspects related to Biorobotics and Innovation Engineering.

The activities of the WP6 “Biorobotics & Sustainability” are carried out in 8 labs/facilities, organized in 4 Scientific and Technological Areas. The organization of the Areas/labs is summarised hereafter:

  1. B3MAT – materials for sustainable biorobotics
    A complete facility for compounding and investigating materials and processing methods for «cradle-to-cradle» sustainable biorobotics: body (structural materials), sensors/actuators (functional materials).

    A complete robotic facility for developing, validating and deploying solutions for environmental protection and valorization, large scale civil structures, energy infrastructure and terrain monitoring, monitoring industrial sites and worksites.
